Nick Robertson - BVetMed MRCVS
Nicko grew up on the Mendips, hunting with the Mendip Farmers and was an active member of the Mendip Farmers Pony club, particularly in tetrathlon and horse trials. Nicko studied at the Royal Veterinary College, London University qualifying in 1989. Tim Randle - BVSc MRCVS
Tim graduated from Bristol Veterinary School in 1994 and from there went straight into Equine Practice in Worcestershire. He returned to Bristol in 1998 and completed a 5 year contract as Director of Equine Practice at the Langford Field Station. Subsequently he joined Nicko at The Stables where a great Partnership was forged. Although Tim “hung up his boots” as a rider several years ago he remains closely involved with the sport of Horse Trials in various capacities. Tim is the Team Vet for the British Pony Three Day Event and Dressage Teams and an FEI Official as well as attending numerous events throughout the season as a course vet. Within The Practice his areas of special interest are lameness investigation and reproduction. When not at work he is likely to be………….probably asleep |

Nick Parkinson - MA VetMB MRCVS
Nick graduated from Cambridge Veterinary School in 2005. Following completion of an equine internship at Cambridge, Nick moved to Somerset to join the practice in 2007 and has been here ever since. He has a special interest in internal medicine, particularly weight loss, liver disease and respiratory problems, and is working towards the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Certificate in Equine Internal Medicine. |

Michael Dewhurst - BVSc MRCVS
Michael graduated from the University of Liverpool and after completing an externship in a Newmarket equine hospital moved to Driffield in East Yorkshire where he worked in mixed equine, small and farm animal practice. Michael joined the Stables Equine Practice in April 2009 and is currently working towards a certificate in advanced veterinary practice focusing on stud medicine |

Dawn Stubbs - Practice Manager
Dawn has been our Practice Manager since July 2007 and is responsible for the day-to-day running of the practice and managing the business side of things, so that the vets can concentrate on looking after your horses. She has a multitude of tasks in her role and is always at the end of the phone should you have any queries or questions but the hardest of all is trying to keep the vets in order! When not working Dawn enjoys the outdoors and fast cars! |

Jess Wedmore
Jess joined ‘The Stables’ in March 2007 where she took the role of Receptionist. Born and bred in Somerset she is quite familiar with the Mendips which helps when trying to arrange the vet’s busy diaries and deciding which routes to take to get them there in good time! Jess is always on hand to answer telephones to book appointments, order repeat prescriptions, deal with queries etc. She also runs a Yearly Worming Programme which Michael assists with and is always keen to add newcomers! At weekends Jess enjoys spending her time socialising and likes activities such as running, cycling and dancing.

Carolynne Dyke
Carolynne has worked at the Practice since August 2008. Coming from a farming background, Carolynne has always had a keen interest in horses. Apart from helping Jess with booking appointments, answering the telephone, her responsibilities mainly lie in the processing of all the veterinary surgeons bookings. Carolynne enjoys having lots of fun with her grandchildren, travelling, swimming, cooking and socialising and helping her daughter run a small rehabilitation/livery yard in the Mendips as well as helping her husband run a beef unit.
